The_Observer
So i have now a SP3 from work, got dual montiors though daisy chain working. But the only thing i have is scaling. When i undock its a small view and need to increase the scaling. But when i dock it back my montiors are over scaled. Is there a way to tell the SP3 to use scaling in tablet mode and no scalling in docked mode.

Stokkolm
You'll need external monitors that match the resolution of the SP3, which is 2160 x 1440.
tsupersonic
nope. welcome to using a surface with its HD screen and high resolution. Indeed, I'm starting to hate my SP2 more and more. It's a decent piece of hardware (minus the crap type cover keyboard), but the software in regards to the display/scaling makes for a miserable experience. Either leave it docked or undocked. I use mine to RDP into other servers/computers at work. +E.Worm Jimmy 1 Share

If they do fix it, it won't be exclusively for the SP3. Scaling in Windows would need to change fundamentally.

FFS, i got top of the range 13" ultrabook that i love, but it has super hi res, and i cannot read anything comfortably. i got it for my dad, so i assume he is not able to read ANYTHING, if i cannot read anything comfortably. so i play with settings, and get it to work ok, but it is so inconsistent it is a nightmare. i always though that windows were the one that worked at any res, while macs sucked at scaling, but now, as we reach higher res, i see that long term, mac does better with it. praying Win 10 will fix it, and make 13" QHD displays look normal again.
