Guy on the Space-X Live feed the guy just said "It's going to stay over south-east Asia" then corrected himself.. sounded like he wasn't supposed to mention that..

Ruh-roh ... That can't be a good sign, losing comms with the ASDS like that. :(

S1 looked like she was landing port side...may have had too much velocity to correct

agreed doesn't look good, possibly coming in too hot with the flash of light the signal going off.

It loses vision like that every time, the incoming stage shakes the barge so much that the satcom link drops.

yea, unfortunately I do not think they stuck the landing. :(  It looked like she was too far off port side.

Hopefully it's just the orientation of the ASDS.

if they are a couple of meters wide from such a high speed then I think its a bloody good effort.

Comms loss is camera vibration, the stage blocking the satellite etc. messing with RF

spacex seems to have this sorted. Clearly their first objective is the job at hand. I think if they had a payload fail to reach its target but a S1 landed their would be all hell to pay.

Grain of salt, please

@spacexstatus: Unverified reports that the #Falcon9 first stage experimental landing was a success.

Man, I hope they do a side-by-side on NSF or something in real time to show difference in liftoff speed between this launch and Orbcomm or something. Or maybe one of F9 FT vs F9 1.1
