Si Veteran Posted December 19, 2003 Veteran Share Posted December 19, 2003 (edited) Ok, so I want to have another go at using Linux as my primary OS. I have decided that Fedora is the way to go at the minute as Gentoo is too long winded for my purposes. Can anyone walk me through setting up my Belkin F5D7000 PCI 54g card with the ndiswrapper (http://ndiswrapper.sf.net) package? I notice that they have updated to version 0.3 which from what I can tell from their mailing lists supports my card. I also need to set up 128 bit WEP. I have determined that the 2 windows driver files I need are bcmwl5.sys & bcmwl5.ntf (renamed .inf), and now I am stuck with the actual install! Unfortunately, yes as it uses the Broadcom chipset for which there is no oss driver :(
