Remote
Ive had these stupid dots (all over me) for about 3 weeks now. I went to the hospital, 3 doctors examined it and (i guess they were either not used to seeing rashes or were completely clueless) and had no idea what was wrong. They took one of em out and sent it for a biopsy, which means in 2 weeks i get the results, then in another week i get to see a dermatologist and another week before it clears up. Thats another month i have to deal with the stupid dots all over my face... I went to see another doctor today and he said they were chicken pox. But then again, I really dont think he is a very good doctor because ive already had chicken pox (im aware you can get them again), and the symptoms last 5-7 days max. So im hoping maybe from neowin has experienced something like this or knows something about it. They are approx 0.5cm big, circular, raised (not flat on my skin), not itchy at all and they dont hurt. Any idea what it could be? Herpes?
Kriz
Weird red dots on my skin... what are they? Aids? Heat rash? Allergy?

Garrett Socling
My wife had a rash...doctor said it was extremely rare...some sort of transient infection or something...not serious and it passed after two or three weeks... One of the distinguishing features were sloping lines of dots across your back. Almost like someone draped lines of a light rash across it. Forget what it was called tho... Hmm...oh! It started as a circular red spot about the size of a half dollar. That was the first thing she noticed. It was a self-limiting illness and she didn't have any symptoms other than the rash. Good luck...keep going to the doctors...and don't miss a health-insurance payment ;) G
ChickenWrap
Heres some more info. It is not related to an STD at all.. It is not because ive hit puberty as some kids may have suggested (im 19) THREE doctors looked at it, its not something like pimples. All dots are 0.5-0.7 cm big, not any bigger. Its mostly on the top half of my body. I have no severe flu or illness They arent itchy at all So we can cancel out AIDS Syphyllis Pseudomonas Smallpox Chicken pox Ebola Measles SARS etc
Lighthater
It could be eczema or rosacea. Neither are to be very concerned about I wouldn't think. My mom went to a few doctors before they correctly diagnosed eczema. It looks very similar to what you are describing. You might just be sensitive to some sort of soap or laundry detergent.
