Rule34
I'm toying with the idea to hide my PC and sub speaker inside a cabinet . I'd appreciate some advice on getting some good air flow introduced and some general "do this & don't do that" kinda advice as well please. First things first , my PC : Windows 8.1 64-bit Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.00GHz 24.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z97MX-Gaming 5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (MSI) The case is a BitFenix Colossus M Series Some photos below I was thinking about, turning the pc sideways ( in its case) and placing it inside the chest of drawers. I would remove the drawers and just hang the draw fronts on magnets ( glu some batton in place and hang the draws by magnets onto the batten). I was thinking about, cutting out air vent openings either side of the chest of drawers ( left and right hand sides) and fixing some air vent covers in place . Will I need additional fans running to create air flow inside the cabinet , If so can I use mains powered ones and any recommendations please? If you need exact sizes for thing please ask, such as case size and cabinet size. I'm after an av receiver to run my TV, Bluray and PC all through one set of speakers as well, but I guess that another thread I'm from the UK, if you supply any links to stuff I will need, that'd be really helpful. Oh my speakers are edifier 2.1 and I just want to hide the sub in the space as well. If thats advisable. Sorry for the crappy photos ..... I blame the beer
