+BeLGaRaTh Subscriber¹ Posted December 26, 2003 Subscriber¹ Share Posted December 26, 2003 ur 100 "quid" is probably = to about 200 usd :( The UK actually pays around a dollar to the pound for hardware etc :(, so 100 quid is generally 100 dollars, saying that though my original pricing is slightly off,I have seen ATi 9600 XTs on sale on US sites for $119 (after all these coupons/discounts the americans seem to love :)) and have just checked the UK prices which are ?120 so only a dollar difference (when you take it dollar to pound). wzoo1
I just finished playing Prince of Perisa using this trick (first learned from UBISoft forums). It works great on my GF2MX 400! I turned down all the shaders and other effects in the options and it runs like a pro! BTW, if you notice lag in the game using this trick (3d analyzer), make sure you have the LATEST Nvidia drivers installed (52.xx i think) and DirectX 9.0b installed. Also you should change the settings in the nvidia driver settings to High Proformance in Image settings under the Proformance & Quality tab. Also select 'Best Proformance' under Direct3D settings and that will fix your game graphic lag for you after you restart da game!!! Now I'm stuck at 7% in the game and dunno how to get down onto the bottom level. Anyone get this far into the game yet? I just got this game a few days ago! :)

aafussy
I'm downloading 3d-analyze 2.3 right now. Sounds like a great way to emulate T&L in software for graphics chipset without support-like Intel graphics controllers.
CyberKewl
I managed to use 2.26 and get the game working but it seems that after playing a while, the game would just crash to desktop.

intoksicated
here's my problem... i got both of them to work... i get an error message at the beginning saying "Your videocard ? 3D-Analyze v2.3 - http://www.tommti-systems.com ? is not supported." i click on yes to proceed to the game... the intro of the company names are viewable... ubisoft, bink, nvidia... but when it comes to the game itself... i see nothing but white. i can see the words but everything else is white. it's like looking on a whiteboard with brown writings on it... can anyone help me with my issue? by the way, i made sure that everything that u guys ticked i ticked too and also...i have a geforce4 mx440 but i think u guys know that already... thanks for the help.
