Sup! As the title says it: What is the most effective way on testing my site "heavy" on an older devices? I mean, how do I know if older devices can handle the effects and animations of the site?
I'm not stating old browsers. I'm saying new browsers: IE 11, FF 38, Chrome 41, etc running on older hardware.
I'm also verifying the site against YSlow and Google's Pagespeed. + Browser's network and performance profiler.
I'm currently in its design stage and I'm planning to use some slide in/out, fade in/out effects using animate.css + jquery + vanilla js
The thing is that I have an i7 4700 mq (no bragging intended) and lots of RAM. And was wondering how can I simulate a correct environment on testing it on older devices.
