in the near future -> year 3000

------ introducing the sims v999999.99

i never got into the sims. didn't like it all. i don't think the original and it's _i forget how many expansions_ ever left the top 10 selling games list!

Been to the future and seen the final have we?

if they can't game run smooth for demo movie at 320x240, i don't hold much for the future...when they will add even more stuff.

when was the last time you played a demo of a game and then full version was faster? in my experience never. all that talk about optimizations is BS. full versions are always slower

Looks really good! I think i'll be hooked into buying it when it comes out :p

The video was most likely downsized to 320x240.

The Sims runs in a native resolution of 800x600. 1024x768 is an option.

And speaking of that, what about Windows XP when it wasn't final, it ran horribly slow, not to mention that the requirements were rediculous compared to the final version (considering you were a beta tester, ask a tester if you're interested). Same with video card drivers, the card usually runs slow when using the pre-release drivers (when reviewers get an early review of a reference board).
