Ms Win XP & Ms Office XP

Hi...

I have a problem when I'm going to install office xp in windows xp, setup can't fined office1.cab and the cd contains that file??

can anybody help me...

Try copying the contents of the CD onto your HD and run setup from there.

I've tryed to copy the office files to the hd with no luck, and I've tryed to reinstall xp and still same problem.. hope someone have a solution to my problem.

ok this is gonna sound dumb, but i'll just tell you that i got this exact same error, but after cleaning the CD it worked perfectly...hehe told you it would sound dumb :p

Check to make sure you haven't selected to install Speech Recognition or any other "extra" features. Use Typical install.

Thanks for all help/tips I finaly made it after copy the contents of the office cd to the hd for the 3rd time and then install. Thanks for all you're help and support...

win xp kicks ass!

I'll have to backup my OfficeXP disk sometime... but I'll probably end up destroying it b4 I get round to backing it up. I better backup WinXP too. God damn I'm lazy. :D:D
