dogmatix
Can anyone help? I am confined to ISDN and still have to connect via DUN, because there is neither cable nor DSL in my neighbourhood. Periodically, unpredictably and without any warning, when I disconnect, XP maintains a vestigial trace of the connection, so that when I reconnect, I am unable to reach any web page or check my mail. This shows up as a disconnected adapter under Networking in Task Manager but there is no way to kill it. At least, none that I can find. Can anyone please offer a solution? I am fed up with rebooting in order to reconnect to the net. Please PM or post here. THANXX :D
