Who says he warezed it. Maybe he spent a few thousand dollars on hardware/software just because he liked the name, not because he actually knew what the software is for or what to do with it.

Is it my imagination, or are all of use Mac users smartasses? Or maybe just us Albertans.

Based on him posting a link to a bit torrent tracker for a test copy of 10.3.2, I'd say he is warezing it. And if he bought it then why not ask the company of which he purchased their product?

You're right: asking tech support would be a good idea. I was thinking this might have been the latest case of Windows 95 fever. I remember seeing a news report about people who were in line-ups at the computer stores at midnight to buy Windows 95 - some people were buying two or three copies! They interviewed some people about why they wanted it: some didn't know what it was and one guy didn't even own a computer! Then they went off about the cost of the marketing campaign, why the new windows is important etc.

Oh and about being a smartass: it's defiently an alberta thing, I can't say whether or not Apple has anything to do with it: but it can't hurt.
