Just to add, it is not easy to make money without investing money.

I first started selling on ebay last month and invested $400. I turned that 400 into 1500 profit in the month of december alone. I did it by reinvesting what I made.

If you have little to no money to start, then the best way to go is sell stuff around the house that you dont use. Once you make some money REINVEST.

Just receintly I got into wholesaling and its going GREAT.

Now, you can make money (a lot) for a total cost of $0, I have a long list of BRAND NAME APPERAL that I have access to at low prices. If you or anyone else wants to use my inventory and sell it at a markup price, you can do that.

Example, I sell ralph lauren for 13.50 a shirt if you can find a buyer for 14.50, you buy from me and you keep that extra buck.

PM me if your interested.

Well, I was interested in making some extra cash. I found a wholesaler and have a contract with him. I buy from him and sell it at a markup, just like you would except you would buy from me.

This is no different from how it works anywhere.

Manfature sells to jober at a markup, jober sells to a wholesaler at a markup, wholesaler sells to a retail store for a markup. This is how a shirt that you pay 60 bucks for gets to 60 bucks when it really costs 2 bucks to manufacture.

Now back to me saying you dont have to invest a penny. This is because even though you are selling the merchandise at a markup, you never even handle the product. The manufacture ships it to your buyer.

the expected returns are going to be dependant upon several factors, but the major ones are:

1) quality of product,

2) demand for said product

3) $$$ invested

4) $$$ *re-invested

5) Time spent pursuing tehse deals, and

6) the options used to sell your merchandise.

lol - that's the truth in almost *all* business ventures.

That is not *all* it is about though. Offering very rare prints by Picasso on EBay might be a good thing - if you are sure that you will have some sort of a market for those prints.

some things will sell, and some won't - and some are already out there in full force - I can't believe how much BS I ran into when I was building my computer 2 years ago - I saw ppl bidding left and right and paying up to 20% more for items on EBay than they could have paid retail.

I learned very very fast - make sure you do price comparisons on every thing you buy - I would never allow the butler to bid on an item on EBay higher than 90% of what I could get at a retail site - at that point, it is not worth it anymore.

good points.

Remember that ebay is a game. If you are selling something, chances are that 100 others are selling the same thing. You must make your product stand out among the others
