Prince of Persia

It's true. In the part where you have to kill you newly "sandy zombified" dad and he has like 40 cronies that just won't die and you can't vault over-- I just lost it man. I went totally nuts and strangled my mom who had come in because she thought I was having a siesure (spelling?), I was rattling and shaking because I was so ****ed off at the games clunky controls. She was like "try it one more time" and I replied "sure, I'll die once more-- what the hell!" The next twenty things out of my mouth started with f and ended in uck, getting progressively louder until lights began to flip on in houses across the street at which point I got up, through my television through the wall, strangled my mom to death and stormed through the new hole out onto the street and to my neighbors house.

I kicked down the door, walked through their mud room and into the living room. The children scattered and the mother followed them closely, the father stood up and in an grotesquely wimpy voice said "what?" So I killed him and the rest of the village.

Then I went back to Prince of Persia and continued to lose.

Heh, best way to do it is to go for as many drinks as possible at the end of the hall. Just make sure they are either down or resting though or you will get messed up when you put your sword away.

ya ya, it was a typo... and THERE IS NO FOUNTAIN. Maybe we're thinking of different places. This is where that dumb broad has her bow and is shooting all those dudes in this long hall with stairs at one end. You jump off of a balcony, run down the wll (ugg) and then fight them. One of them is your "father" and hes like impossible to hit. He parrys every damn thing you do.

What am I missing?

There is no fountain, but there is "Water" ponds at the end of the room. I didn't pass the level couple times. Then I tried to stay close to the water.. and take a dip whenever I was low on blood...

i beat this guy on my first try..whats the issue :| the method i used at first was always block. if i did that, he would recover too quickly from his attack and i wouldn't be able to break his defense. what you want to do is wait for him to make a motion to attack and step out of the way or roll to the right or left. when he misses he'll sit there for a second recovering from it.. now's your time to strike.

Remember to block too, its really usefull. I didnt start blocking till later on in the game where guys with really big swords do you in in a few swipes.

Just have to watch out for when they go for your legs then.. But those moves are slow and you can usually jump out of danger.

Firts kill all the "cronies". You can't hurt your "father" until that is done, try the jumping-to-the-back-of-the-enemy-and-attack mode and then the "E" button until you got all of them.

Never stay close to the girl because if they kill her you die too, but she is very useful, so let her come near, but only in a short period of time without endangering her life too much.

When they attack and hurt you, press the rewind button (default "R") and block it the next time, and so on. There is water at the end of the stage, but I recommend only drinking it in the moment when you kill all the "cronies" and your "father" waits a moment before going after you...

Good luck!!!

(This game rocks!!!!)

dude theres water right there, just keep refilling your health. between refilling your health, and the the almost unlimited sand you can get from the dead guys, its pretty hard not to beat it, just time consuming, and a lot of button mashing

Took me about 5-6 tries. Took a lot of patience, that's for sure. The way I got through it was:

1) Don't let them crowd around you. When 3 of the cronies sorround, roll outta there, because when one knock you down the rest of them all take a chop at you, which in turn kills you or brings you mighty close. Of course you can rewind, but you want to save those.

2) Keep moving and use all of the Prince's acrobatic skills, apart from vaulting over enemies. One thing though, when they're slouched over (where it only takes one more hit to drop them), vault over them and simultaneously use the dagger. A far cleaner way of getting rid of them.

3) Drink as much as water as possible. It is there, at the back of the room.

although it only take 8 hours for to finish it.

I must say, this is the easiest game I ever play... and too much interesting...with special features of prince.

Again...the game is very easy...just read the TIPS in Game manual.
