UnReStRiCtEd
Im using Xebian 1.0.0 RC1, When i change the resolution to 800x600 in X it causes wierd lines to travel down the sides of the screen (see attachment). I am booting from Cromwell 2.28 Dev, on a v1.3 XBOX using the connextant video output chipset, it is fine in the console though. Any ideas how to fix it?? Anyone know how HW 3d Accelleration is coming along? Thanks, Mitchell

kemical
are you sure 800x600 res is supported running nix on an xbox?
ZenPirate
Is that being displayed on a monitor, or a tv? regular tv's are only either 320x240 or 640x480. IIRC.
UnReStRiCtEd
Its running on a PAL TV. I know that it does support resolutions of higher then 640x480. i think that it might be something to do with the overscan compression or refresh rates, how can i set it? bucko
800X600 should be supported as it's supported in GentooX (installing on a 160Giger yer baby) but it might either be a problem with XBV (reinstall) or just buggy software as Xebien is on the unstable tree. forums.xbox-scene.com has an Alternative Operating System forum that might be able to help you. Always search before your post though!
