Id work on your basic seo.. make sure www. and non www. redirect to same place, make sure each image has descriptive alt tags, make the page title more descriptive, link social media pages, use friendly urls etc..

I also notice you have 3 sitesmaps?

http://www.dghope.co.uk/sitemap.xml

http://dghope.co.uk/sitemap-pages.xml

http://dghope.co.uk/sitemap1.xml

no need for 2 of them, make sure theres no 404s etc.

Sort most of that stuff out, make sure your sitemaps are submitted to google and things may start to get found naturally better

You need to give people a reason to visit your site, unless someone knows you personally or you become famous no one is ever going to Google "dghope" and find your site.

However if you offered some content / tutorials people would search for, example: Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop tutorials (presuming you use them), then someone might be searching for the question your tutorial provides the answer to and end up on your site. You have now got someone on your site reading your tutorial, that person is then more likely to browse and have a look at your illustrations.

Thanks guys. Some good tips there. Will look into them both tomorrow. I used to write quite a lot of tutorials for Photoshop. So might be fun to do some for Illustrator.

I was thinking of trying to get some videos made up aswell.

Maybe add a page for some wallpapers and downloads?

Are there any place`s I can submit my site to for free?

Looks like you have a talent for drawing but the site was hard to read. So

1. Make the design easier to read

2. I'd go for a white background instead of transparent to show off your work, it get's slightly lost when scrolling

3. Tell me about the pin up girl - who, what, why - not a 10,000 word essay but enough to inform me why you drew it.

4. Could not see an about page, what if I want to hire you ?
