PM5K
My host has informed me that they don't run logs so that I can see how much traffic I use, is there any other way that I can know how much traffic my site generates ?

0 PM5K
Heh, no I thought it was odd when the guy told me to look for a third party app. They have it but he says he'd rather not use it because it uses up resources.
0 Steven P. Administrators Posted January 29, 2002 Administrators Share Posted January 29, 2002 we have webalizer disabled too but our host lets us know what our bandwidth usage is if we ask They can also tell us how many people are on the site when we want to know because our counters dont count proxies and networks (so its slightly off) Apache I believe has a tool (server side) for this type of monitoring hosts dont switch that off because they wont know themselves what the bandwidth usage is for each server (site) I suggest asking him to mail you weekly the bandwidth or when you ask. So you can get averages. Hope this helps
