Chris Lee Posted December 23, 2003 Share Posted December 23, 2003 I have a XP Pro connected to internet via linksys router, is in DMZ, Just installed Zone Alarm Pro, Set my network to the friendly zone. Yet when I accept to the windows Remote control that this computer has sent, nothing happens. Everything's still. I waited 5 mins, nothing. No little computer prompt saying connecting or whatever. No reaction from the other computer. I set the Friendly Zone with all features accessable in the panel. How can I make this work between a Firewall Software computer and a Router Firewall Computer? PseudoRandomDragon Posted December 23, 2003 Share Posted December 23, 2003 The first thing you can try is turning off ZoneAlarm client protection, which keeps remote software from manipulating ZoneAlarm. Go to the overview tab, click the preferences tab and uncheck the box "protect the ZoneAlarm client". If that don't work...go to forum.zonelabs.com.
