DeAd-EyE
I'm wonderin if there r viruses going around on xboxes now, or just plaine faulty hard drives cause i've had data go bad on me at random. like today: i borrowed THPS: Underground from a friend which was all scratched up and thus wouldn't work properly. so after going to the local gameshop and getting it fixed still didn't work. I tried deleting the save and then tryin and then deleted my custom soundtracks and the game worked but only for the first level but then messed up again. now he's the odd thing. i gave up on thps and went back to pgr2. everytime i tried to load my profile: BAM! the system froze. so i had to delete my profile (i was upto supercar series with like mostly golds and halfway thru arcade which is y i'm so damned ****ed). what i'm wondering is y the pgr2 save got messed up? does it have something to do with the custom soundtrack that was loaded so now any game with a custom soundtrack that gets messed up takes the rest of them with it or is this just a freak occurence? needless to say i'm gettin a mem card cause i HATE restarting games...especially such a long one. Briandl79
If it's not a modified system then your drive may be going bad, if it is modified there are a few things that can cause things like this, one being the clock and the other being a changed eeprom.... DeAd-EyE
oh man..i don't like the sound of this..especially since i just gave the game back 2 my friend and it works fine! is it possible that its a problem with the dvd? cause i mean all my other games work A-OK. In fact..the only time i've had a problem was with 2 Halo's i rented from block buster that didn't work (Stratched up like crazy) but when i bought the game it worked fine. .KICK
Okay, firatly there are no viruses out on Xbox, secondly They can corrupted but very unlikely, thridly, tell us what drive you have and what xbox version, fidn that out from www.xbox-scene.com. If your getting a memory card, you better get the official one. The THPS might have damaged the lens in the disc drive but I probabaly doubt it. I know this sucks but it very rarely happens. If it continues to happen phone up Microsoft
Neo003
Best thing to do at this time is to call ms (I know), but if you open yourself there goes the warrenty( if you purchased less than a year ago).

Gary_Player
EVERY OTHER harddrive dies so i dont see why X-Box ones wouldnt...in this case though it might not have been a HD problem it could have just been a problem with that crappy game
