mattrobs
if none of that works, try re-installing IE or check sum other sites -- it might be the website you are looking at is having the problem
Iain
That may not always work, because I know I've had this problem before aswell. Best bet would be to grab the link for it, paste it somewhere, and then right click save as, as you've put in the title.
CatnipOligarchy
As stated by QuickReply, just delete your temporary internet files i have done this exact thing, and normally it works, but each time for less and less amount of time, then the last time i deleted them (yesterday) it didnt solve the problem. this is hella annoying. i'd like to avoid deleting cookies because i dont like typing in my password all over again at every site i regularly visit, but would that have anything to do with it? WesDog
Clearing cache works and also go to your downloaded program files and get rid of the ones that say unknown or any of them with errors. That finally fixed my saving as .bmp problem. Stupid M$ haha
