hfred
If the ibook battery is fully charged and I leave it plugged into the AC outlet will that hurt the battery?
misecia
I don't really think it's a problem, I leave my iBook plugged in nearly all the time and there doesn't seem to a problem with it. I could be wrong tho, as it only 3 weeks old :p
hfred
Yeah I don't even have mine yet. I will have it at about 1:00 (early Christmas gift)
FL!PNEUS
No problem. You just have to completely charge the battery once and use your iBook without the charger attached till it goes into Sleep-mode because the battery is almost empty within the week of purchase to calibrate the battery. But that's all in the documentation. Congrats on your iBook, it's a wonderful piece of equipment.
Tim Dorr Veteran Posted December 24, 2003 Veteran Share Posted December 24, 2003 Yeah, I'd recommend using it to "death" at least once a month to calibrate it. I happened to do this the other night unintentionally ;)
