The Official "What I got for Christmas" thread

I couldnt have said it any better myself, and I'm 15..

I didnt mean to say that there is a certain specific age for everyone at which you become responsible and realize what is important, just using him as an example I guess. You could be 5 and think the same thing. Its just maturity or something I guess.

Gift-giving is the process (in my opinion) to show that the giver loves and cares for the receiver.

By the way, the first present I got was from my older sister. She've got me a new steering wheel cover and some car wash kit and air refresher for the car. Currently waiting to visit my parents sooner on (it's 2pm xmas day as I post this). I will post back what I got from them.

I didnt get a single gift from my parents.. does that mean my parents dont care?

I got a gift from this really hot girl... does that mean she loves me? :i wish:

I dunno, it really depends on family customs. If you were raised with $800 worth of gifts under the tree every year, then you come to expect them. but for me, my family hasnt been celebrating christmas (because we arent christian) and even if we did, i would be fine if i didnt get any gifts cause my parents get me stuff all year.

P.S.S. Yes, I'm 15 too! But I'd be lucky to get anything.

My 'gifts' were the same as I've already said: I got a card from my mother & stepfather, and one from my grandparents. That is, in totality, the extent of my holiday gift receiving. :p

My parents are pretty wealthy - but I don't mind in the least - though I /am/ glad that I'm not down there visiting them this year! Getting together with the family is wonderful, but watching them unwrap the literally thousands of dollars worth of gifts they get each other is kinda boring.

Plus, it's hard to feign surprise when you already know what they both got each other. :p
