The Official "What I got for Christmas" thread

Recommended Posts

Well this Christmas was good to me. I told everybody I didn't want anything (I have everything I wanted, and presents aren't a big deal with me). To my suprise everybody in my family (extended family included) pitched in and got me my dream gun (Desert Eagle .50AE Titanium Gold Nitrate finish). You know that was awesome, and it was a pain in the *** for them to get. I'm grateful as can be, and you shold be to. You know the hassle family members go through to get Christmas presents for people? I know it took me 2 months to get presents for everybody (and most people usually take long I hear). So the point I'm making is you shouldn't care what you got for Christmas, you should enjoy Christmas for what it is, and if you get something you should be extremely grateful for it. Ok that's the end of my rant for a day.

Although I think your sediment is great and you seem very intelligent and kind hearted in your post, I can't help but think that it is a little ****ed up that you got a handgun for christmas!

God Doesnt exist. He is Just like "santa" and the "easter bunny" God is something that people made up so when there life was down they had something to beleive in. If god existed there wouldnt be death and disease as there is now.

on a side note:

I havent opened my gifts yet but for x-mas eve i got

Ps2

GTA III Multi Pack

Test Drive..

And a merry ****ing x-mas to you 2..

christmas eve and prior:

$100 gift cert for thinkgeek.com

"their first time in the movies" (its all about celebrities' first film appearances) book and DVD set

a fleece

a swiss army knife

a fascinations XP3 clock (the one that displays the time in mid air)

a new wallet

a far side calendar

thats it so far... update tomorrow after i get up and open what santa got me

Chriskelly... this isnt the place to start a philisophical discussion about God... just because someone mentions him doesn't mean you need to cram your belief in his nonexistance down their throat... some believe, some don't, it's that simple, but you're just asking for a flame war

You my friend need to learn that material posessions are not all there is to life. They're nice, and you should be grateful that your parents are able to give them to you, but asking for more when you already have so much? That's greed. This year I got something nice, a digital camera...but that wasn't the best present. It wasn't even something material but it was the best present of all - my mom doesn't have cancer anymore. That's more than I could ever ask for, and it's not something you can buy. Honestly, you should step back and think about how much you have (material and otherwise - family and friends that love you) and appreciate them. There are people in the world that have nothing except for their families and friends and they couldn't be happier. You're still young so at least you have time to learn that. (it feels weird saying that because I'm only 17 but I guess some people learn life's lessons earlier than others) Regardless...Happy Holidays everyone :)
