VanAlex
Maybe one one you has the solution for this problem... From time to time in windows 2000 computers, with a wide range of different hardware and software/driver configurations, all the icons turn 16 colors altough the desktop is set to 256, 16 bit or even 32 bit. I see this quite often and it really ****es me off to the point that I format when it happens on my PC, but when it happens to friends or clients that's not a solution. Any ideias? Thanks in advance. Daybreak
... I don't really experience this problem much. Anyway, you can go get TweakUI for Win 2k. There's this option under the repair tab that allows you to force Windows to rebuild your icon cache. This usually fixes any icon problems you have. Hope that was of use.
