Jews of Neowin

Okay, everwhere we I've went today it's all been merry christmas. However, where is out Happy Chanukah? Like most of you other jews, I feel left out once again, simply because I am Jewish. I feel if Christains get to have their Merry Christmas posted, I feel we Jews Should have our Happy Chanukah posted aswell.

theres a difference between whishing everyone a happy Chanukah versus making a demonstration as to why christians have a xmas thread and u being left out as you have . I beleive there is a Chanukah thread already, if i am not mistaken. Maybe its your poor wording, but it seems ur motives are to spite than they are for celebration .

maybe its bc chanukah is a non-important holiday in the jewish faith? chanukah has only been emphasized in recent years to try to capitalize on the xmas holiday season. chanukah means nothing in your own faith.

deal with it

merry xmas

Man, for a second there, I thought there was going to be some sort of Jewish uprising on the neowin forums. :D

But don't get too bent out of shape. Everyone knows that this time of year, at least in the states, is dominated by christmas. It's just how it is...

I'm of no religion, but I, on some level, celebrate xmas. It's not exactly a religious thing to me, it's more about just time to spend with loved ones and whatnot. That's what xmas is (that and a very deserved break from classes ;) ).

I am jewish. I dont feel left out. I like christmas. I dont beileve in it, but I do beileve in any holiday that brings family together. I went to a xmas party today and had a great time. In fact, it was the first time my parents and sister were together for an outing in about 2 months. It was great.

And for today, I enjoyed the typical jewish christmas with chinese for dinner and I will watch a movie.
