-=SD=-
PC looks a lot better for me then it did on my friends ps2. Other than that it's probably about the same.
Flash
pc version looks much better depending on your video card, motion blur is much better and better reflection update rate than ps2 and gc version. rest is the same
MxxCon
hell ya pc better gfx, ability to have updates to fix any bugs, and possibly ability to modify/add new cards
Shadrack
If you have a fast PC (think athlon xp, pentium 4 or above), have a DirectX 9 video card, and a game controller, go with the PC version. If your TV is gigantic and beatiful, go with the PS2 version. If you have both, go with PC version.
-=SD=-
Just wondering do you guys that play with it use a controller? I just use my keyboard but I have no choice since I don't own any pc controllers yet.
Shadrack
You definitly need a controller. How can you play w/o one?!?! You need that analog control over your vehicle. Game pads are a must for a lot more games these days (and old emulators too! :))

evilcheese
i just hooked an xbox controller up to my PC, works awesome. you need one of the newer S controller, the break away part, a USB extension cord and some electrical. all in all cost you about 40 buXX total, but it well worth it. go here for more info: http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/xbox-usb-xbox-cable.php
Christoffer
pc version ROCKS, my mate bought it for ps2, it was a disapointment.. (spelling)
Fear the Pandaz
Drag races are incredibly easy in the beginning but they get so hard later. I just got a controller but I'm on a drag race so I haven't gotten to use it in a real race yet. Shifting, watching out for traffic, using nos, and winning are hard to concentrate on all at the same time :(
oldmate15
I own it on PS2, and played it on my friends PC. He only has a 800mhz cpu but a kick *** graphics card, lagged quite a bit though. I say PS2 is better, but I will try to play it on a better machine.

Shifting, watching out for traffic, using nos, and winning are hard to concentrate on all at the same time :( Here's a tip, if you don't already know: Use your d-pad in the drag race. You only have to tap a direction and you will change to that lane. At first I was trying to use the analog, and it was crap because i'd fly off the road while trying to dodge traffic. I think i learned the d-pad thing on the TIP loading screen before one of the races.
1ceman
I've played the game without the controller, beaten it and everything. It doesn't bother me at all
isus
another tip: tap the nos button instead of just holding it down... you can hit some outrageous speeds (i got up to 236 in my skyline...) anyway, pick the pc, it's obviously more configurable graphics-wise. if you have an older comp tho, it would be better to get it for ps2, as it will definitely run at good framerates. Kriz
Gfx are slightly better on the PC, but if u dnt have a pc control then its quite hard 2 play on the keyboard.
EnderDX
You shouldn't get it on either. It's a terrible game. Hot Pursuit 2 is better.

EnderDX
What kind of crappy racing game makes you drive cars like the Civic? When I pretend to drive cars, I want to pretend to drive good cars. Like Ferrari's, Lambourgini's, McLarens and the Seleen S7
