I always go to to all the ticket websites and then bid about 3/4 that price at priceline.com.... sometimes I get that price sometimes I don't but everytime it's cheaper that if I would've bought it at any of the others.... something to think about if you don't care what airline you travel with.

[edit] I have my geek in me coming out.... LOL sorry about that... of course it's priceline... sorry

no problem, is there any other places besides bidding on a ticket like priceline.com, like any places i can go in real life like a travel agent or soemthing to get a ticket cheap? i makes me mad how expensive it is for a one way ticket, damn the 9/11 **** and the flight prices, only time i fly and they gotta be sky high :(

Darwin doesn't have international airlines from USA. in fact, i don't think it even has an international airport. if it does, it would only fly to Bali or Indonesia.

your best bet is to fly from USA to Sydney, then to Darwin.

...may i ask why you're going to Darwin anyway? hopefully not for a holiday...

It comes to roughly $1800 at the end tho, it's very hard to find a date I must say but that was one that popped up. IND/DRW are the airport settings so just keep selecting different dates and you could find one cheaper like say a month from then or something...

Good luck on the trip :)

i did price some to fly to melbourne to darwin stay in melb for a week and goto darwin, cause i know darwin is a smaller area so they probably cant handle 747's and stuff well i bet they could but thats why it costs more cause its more of a hassle for them to land a big air liner but anywayz i priced the flights thru melb and darwin and it was 1500 on a good date, still trying to find cheaper before i buy it i got a few months if i could find one for 1200 i would shiest my panties :)

That's a crazy long flight, it's more than 20+ hours on a plane.. I can barely go 6 in a car, but atleast in a plane your not driving just sleeping/hopefully watching movies.

There was another site I used awhile back but I can't think of it, I'll post back if I can find it :)
