The Spy
I was going out yesterday with my friend and we were heading to the cinemas. When we got there he told me to put my mobile on silent when i figured out i didn't have it anymore :( We got thiking and probably thought it would of fell in the bus on the way there.. but when we got to get back home the bus depo was closed so we're going to check another day. It was only an 8310 and now i can get a new one, but still.. i didn't need to loose it to get a new one. The thing that annoyed my is that i had just top uped it with ?10:crazy:: If i don't find it ( which i probably wont ) i'm going to ring that number that blocks your phone from use. I'm also happy i didn't loose my iPod which i just got for my birthday a month ago:|| Does anyone know the number? It's for the UK:pp
KC
Try your service provider?
snippet1
There sholuds be a 'customer service' or something like that number that was provided with your phone package/sim kit. Otherwise, as said above, just look your provider up in the phone directory.

The Spy
Also no, because the guy will throw the sim away.. and keep the phone. I'm sure i put it in my zipped coat pocket.. hmm. If it WAS in my pants pocket, then i defenatly lost it in the bus. Adrian: I'm on Vodafone. The number hmm, well i guess it's probably on the box which i still have. Schueyeee
The IMEI # or the 15 Digit Serial # that Nokias use can be used to disable the mobile for good. Even changing the Sim won't help. Get in touch with Nokia (get the # for the same at nokia.com) and ask them to disable the phone using this #.
HellBender
hmm. If it WAS in my pants pocket, then i defenatly lost it in the bus. Maybe you should keep your pants on when you are riding the bus

Jason the Eighty Eighth
apparently, i heard if your mobile has been stolen and the thief uses it, your provider can track them down as his SIM card was being used. that's why smart thiefs open stolen mobiles and destroy the SIM card (golden chip) so they can't be tracked down. Sweet, I have the same phone :D I don't think I have insurance, though... :/ So if I lose mine, since there's no sim card, I cant get it back? Don't you just hate how the phone drops your signal when you're playing a game or something? ****es me off every time :/ Where do you get your screensavers and ringers?
