BTallack
Age of Mythology is a fun game. I also spend a fair bit of time playing Halo on mac. It just seems to run better on my powerbook than my PC. I'd love to see Generals for Mac.
SPeedY_B
I only really play UT2003 and Halo on my mac at the moment. Can't wait for Doom3 though :) wasn't D3 originally previewed on a mac with the GeForce 3 ?
lexor
Diablo 2 + LoD is definitely a must IMHO ;)
Chadwick
America's Army 2.0 is #1 if you want a game that is basically a simulation of being in the Special Forces, completely online and very realistic.
Tim Dorr Veteran Posted December 28, 2003 Veteran Share Posted December 28, 2003 Diablo 2 + LoD is definitely a must IMHO ;) I agree. It's a great game and runs great even on older Macs :)
JudasIscariot
I agree. It's a great game and runs great even on older Macs :) OK, this is a slight deviation, but does anyone know what Diablo2/StarCraft/WC3 run like on Panther?

misecia
OK, this is a slight deviation, but does anyone know what Diablo2/StarCraft/WC3 run like on Panther? Diablo 2 runs fine on my machine (iBook G4 and Panther) and Warcraft 3 is slightly faster :)
frod
OK, this is a slight deviation, but does anyone know what Diablo2/StarCraft/WC3 run like on Panther? i can run warcraft 3 on full settings on my 1ghz tibook and it will only lag during big battles and a tiny bit while scrolling, which is why i have the settings down a little bit. Stokkolm
I'm not a Mac user, but I heard Doom3 is comming on the Mac platform as well (same day release as PC). :) So that's why it's been delayed so long!

I'm working my way up to ordering an iBook, and was curious to how it would handle some of the stuff I've got. Thank god for Blizzard and their Hybrid CDs! One less thing I need Win32 for. Tim Dorr Veteran Posted December 29, 2003 Veteran Share Posted December 29, 2003 Well, the new iBook has a MASSIVELY better graphics card compared to the last iBook G3, so it may actually perform well. At the very least, you don't have to buy the game to find out if it does run well :)
ss1
Does anyone know when C&C: Generals will be released on the Mac? Last I heard was that it was going to be around January time..... So far the only game I've got my Mac is: - Quake 3 - Dark Lore Horizons (Beta Testing the Mac port) Here's what I would like to get: - Halo - UT:2003 (Got the PC but need for Mac as well) - C&C: Generals ss1. BTallack
Ah yes, you've gotta love the trolls. People need to realize that Mac is not such a horrible gaming platform. Heck the Gamecube is based on a PowerPC, as is the next XBox.
G4M3R
Photoshop :D Just kidding  when I saw UT2003 running on a Mac it was alot better than I throught it be. I'm not a Mac user even though my work has paid for me to become a cerfied desktop/laptop technician :) After doing all exams and pratical work on Macs I do have a new respect for the platform. Who knows I may even get one :D
