sebaz
I noticed this recently (could have something to do with 10.3.2?) after i wake up my powerbook it feels very sluggish for the first few minutes (beach balling all over the place), then it works just fine. I have repaired permissions, done the cleanup routines, restarted and everything, yet the issue is still there. Its not something that happens all the time, it depends how long i leave my powerbook sleeping. Has anyone experience something like this? Thanx guys
isus
i have no problems like that... my 500mhz ibook is fine right after i open the lid, it comes up, and i'm able to get right back to work.

Joseph B
Don't worry about it, aren't you sluggish also when you frist wake up? It's just the hardware getting fully up and awake.

aristotle-dude
I think it might depend on how what apps you are running, their memory usage and how much physical ram you have. If you put your machine to sleep with a lot of apps running, it can take time to balance out the swap file.
