Neztea
Hey Everyone, I am in need of some assistance for a Lan party that i'm going to set up for me and a bunch of friends. Its going to include Both Mac and PC machines but the problem is what games could we possibly play that'll run on both mac and PC. Right now, i got the following games that'll run on both PC and mac -Halo -Starcraft -Quake 3 -Warcraft 3 -Unreal Tournament Right now thats all i got. If you guys can help, It'll be greatly appreciated. Also, if you'd like to throw in some useful tips for Lan gaming, Feel free to say :D:D:D:D: Thanks Neowin!!!!! quigley0
Well, if you want a little COOP action for a while, try DiabloII. I believe mac and PC can run it, and it can be fun. Although, DiabloII is long. So, maybe you could just have a DiabloII dedicated night.
Neztea
Yeah, Diablo would be a good Lan game to play.. Are there any other games that would be sweet, like First person shooters that would work on both PC and Mac. Heh

artichokee
You could try and install an old version of CS :p so you don't have to do with Steam. I can't think of any other FPS games at the moment, but your lineup seems fun. The last time we did a lan party was just pure CS and I didn't get bored either. LordHatrus
Well, some LAN parties warm up with good 'ol ARMAGETRON but I'm thinking there's no mac port. (edit:looked it up. It has a Mac port. http://armagetron.sourceforge.net/ should have known that.... because I remember it had a Linux port DOH) Excellent way to put those reflexes to the test. BF1942 would rule across LAN, because there would be none of those f**ing teamkillers with -900 scores, and if there is one, you can walk across the room and punch him/her. Haven't played BF1942 yet at a lan..... Diablo is definitely good

LordHatrus
Jedi Outcast has a mac and PC version, with a fun multiplayer component.ughhhhThe MP wasn't so good on that game... got old quick... SP was much better.... woo hoo lan parties and starcraft.. now that brings me back to the days.. .. those long.. relentless .. never ending days Someone should organize a LAN party that goes 24/7 for at least 3 days.... that would RULE. Of course, you'd need a lot of people, figure that while some of them sleep (ha, whats that) then there's still more than enough to play a good Diablo co-op...
