Emon
Anyone used Yellow Dog or Debian...??Any hiccups with it... is it worth installing on my iBook. Also has anyone used Fink? I tried to install Yellow Dog once .. I couldn't get it to boot.( well I haven't really tried that hard anyway) You have to change some parameter in open firmware to boot into Linux. Just stick to OS X .. why'd you even want Linux if you have OS 10.3 :p o yeah .. if you are getting Fink get Fink Commander also.

Lighthater
I use Yellow Dog at work on my G4. I have no problems at all, though it was tricky to install at first. Also, Synaptic will make installing software much easier. I hate searching for yellowdog rpms!
Xe|oN
I've got Debian going on old powermacs (Pre-G3) as well as new ones. Certainly easier to do on the newer ones. I found that some of the old macs has problems with some 2.4 kernels but apart from that it runs fantastic :)
