Earlier this year, Microsoft launched two new affordable handsets: the Lumia 640, and its super-sized sibling, the Lumia 640 XL. Despite being aimed at more budget-conscious buyers, we found there was a lot to like about the two handsets - but the sheer size of the 5.7-inch XL was enough to make quite a big impression.
And from its big, beautiful HD display and strong performance, to its high-quality 13MP camera with ZEISS optics, rock-solid build quality, and stunning battery life, the larger Lumia 640 XL certainly proved itself as a hugely competent all-rounder in our detailed review of the device.
If that's not enough, as an extra bonus for the already-likeable 640 XL, Microsoft has said that it will also be one of the very first handsets to be upgraded to Windows 10 Mobile.
