can someone tell me how to configure the resolution and controls , i don't see any ini files anywere

you can do it from the console:

~ then type help for list of commands

i tried changing the res but it crashes when i restart it. oh well. anything to kill in this game? and wtf is up with the weapon sounds? sounds like they ripped it right outta counter-strike.

will it run on a nvida gforce MX :D lol its a old one and tomorrow i will HOPEFULLY make a better system tomorrow wont be able to keep it though :'( but its goos having a mate who owns a pc shop :D

Did anyone notice....

The sounds are copied directly from COUNTERSTRIKE. The AK sounds like the AK.. along with the sound when u reload. EXACTLY the same.

The GUN that has the zoom... sounds like the STEYER AUG (not like.. SAME SOUND). Also, in the run games ... the background has the sound of a screaming man. The same sound that you get when u fall off a bldg in THE COUNTERSTRIKE map callde VERTIGO.

I think, that this was an alpha build well before STALKER was even heard off (or acclaimed). So they put together some sounds (copied from counterstrike) and used it as a preview.

how did you guys manage to change resolutions without it crashing? I keep getting an unhandled exception error o_O ..... anyways, there's really not much you can do in the game anyway.....'cept walk around :)
