Linux Wireless

Recommended Posts

I remember that ALFA wireless cards (USB) run OTB on Linux. I have 2 of them.

But the version I have is only b/g. Do the N models work as well?

Like this? http://www.alfa.com.tw/products_show.php?pc=34&ps=8

Model I have is AWUS036H. I'm not sure of my other one, as I gave it to my aunt. It looks similar.

Or should I look at other options? I have Ubuntu on my other computer. And routing a cable to my TV would be hard.

Should work fine. The chipset is based on a Realtek RTL8187L, and I know those drivers are supported out of the box at the kernel level since version 2.6.28+.

Hope that helps, bud.
