Powerworks
Got contacts, can barely see the computer screen.. having to adjust.. they correct nearsideness... but that makes close vision blurry.. Doctor says i'll get used to it... Soft contacts are a bitch to remove also... Spent three hours playing with them at the doctors office..
mark03
i like the idea of not having to wear glasses but i don't like the idea of having to stick my finger in my eye :s it makes me cringe. might just get my eyes lasered when i turn 18 :D
The Vice
I have contacts and glasses and neither work so I really think there is just no solution. My computer screen always gets blurred up and driving with them is a hassle. I agree they are so hard to get in and out sometimes, early in the morning when my eyes are still fighting to stay open, wanting only to sleep or, especially after i fall asleep with them in....ow :(! rpm
I live in my contacts, I eat, sleep, work, all in them. Take them out at the end of each month, repeat. My life. :(:)

.will
i got mine when i was 12. always loved them. take them out every night. put them back in every morning. it prevents serious eye infection. my friend stopped taking them in and out, got an infection, and now he can't wear them for 8 months. mark03
yeah, you're meant to start off by wearing them for short periods of time, like 2 hours or so, and then building up each day until you wear them all day.

Powerworks
Nah I figured it out... basicly I just got over the pain.. But the second one was easier since i've gotten used to it (although my right eye is more swollen) I'll get used to it.. its worth it. I have new respect for people that do this as soon as they wake up though..
Azadre
My eyes adjusted to my contacts after about two months. I also recommend to NEVER use generic contact solution.

DrunknMunky Veteran Posted December 31, 2003 Veteran Share Posted December 31, 2003 A little off topic, but I love running my finger over my eye ball and making people cringe, I probably shouldnt do it cause Ill damage my eye knwoing my luck... I wear the colour design contacts you can get so Im pretty used to putting them in and out, just takes time getting used to the method etc..
