the US media is trying to downplay ISIS being involved because it would damage the image of the narrative of ISIS having infiltrated Europe

This is a heinous attack but so too are the war crimes being committed by western nations in the Middle East. This is a reminder that there are consequences for western countries that meddle in the Middle East. It has to be pointed out that France has been a major player in the War on Terror and has been conducting air strikes in Syria - this attack is a sad but predictable outcome.

This is why it concerns me greatly that the UK is still talking up the possibility of military action in Syria, as we risk similar attacks. Victory is not a possible outcome. Western nations need to stay the hell out of the Middle East.

:(

Don't know what else to say.  Just so sad that this senseless attack is occurring.

Deepest condolences to the families of the victims of this horrific/cowardly attack.

Give me a gun with unlimited ammo and ill personally go to Syria and fix the problem since no one else will.
Bloody disgusting that this is happening. I hope the families of these people find peace.

What do you mean "infiltrated"?

Did ISIS dug holes to get into Europe?

Stupid Germany  and others who precipitated the refugee problem it looks like these people came with the flood of refugees that is the reason the borders are being closed. They should have kept people out and thoroughly vet them before letting people in.

Violence begets violence. The answer is to rise above it. Rather than assassinating alleged IS fighters with drone strikes we should be capturing them and trying them in an international criminal court. We cannot sink to their level.

Unfortunately what we'll see is western governments doubling down, promising to increase their military involvement. It will play right into the hands of the IS.

They don't have a level. They will always want to kill you. There is no negotiations with someone who would rather die.

Now is the time to look at Turkey and tell them to either close their borders to ISIS or get out of NATO....

horrible horrible tragedy, the only good that will come of this is every day the world comes closer to rejecting/restricting the bubonic plague of the religious world called Islam. Follow China/Japans lead... restriction and rejection. Muslim? Too bad.

Europe doesn't have open borders, please read up before you try lecturing us.

Last I heard, Europe was getting overrun by a Moslem Zerg rush.

I thought the world realized by now that NOT EVERY MUSLIM PERSON IS AN EXTREMIST?

These people have been at war with the west and non-muslims for decades. Anything we do or don't do from here out won't matter one whit - they want to kill everyone not-them. Time to stop passenger travel to these places and get on with it, no more ######-footing around. No, its not all Muslims - but then what are regional Muslims doing other than have us try to clean up their messes? Get your damned hands dirty.
