+Seetheworldsecond Subscriber¹ Share Posted November 20, 2015 Hello, I recently lost my note 4 and I did not have insurance so I am going to be force to spend $500.00 on a note 5 on swappa.com with 4k, However I was wondering if I wanted better quality with 4k would the best direction be a real camera as oppose to the note 5? Whats your personal experience with 4k on a camera vs smart phone? Thanks!
Noir Angel Share Posted November 20, 2015 A real camera will undoubtedly get you better quality, phones just can't handle compressing 4K video at bitrates that give the kind of quality a proper photographer would want. 1 Share
nekrosoft13 Share Posted November 20, 2015 a good real camera will always be better than the best phone.

Torolol Share Posted November 21, 2015 beware of "fraudulent" 4K smartphone, they deliver the so called "4K-output" by upscaling their lower resolution sensor data into a 4K one. 1 Share

adrynalyne Share Posted November 21, 2015 ....How could you not know the answer to this question? Probably because a certain group of people here tried to convince others that iPhones had as good or better video quality than DSLRs in a recent thread. 3 Share
