QuarterSwede
Look at sig All are either AAC/160 or mp3/192 VBR (before iTunes). Most of the new stuff (aac) is mine or my families.

QuarterSwede
is AAC format better than mp3? how? Advanced Audio Codec (AAC) is an mp4 and mp3 is obviously mp3. AAC encoding (quality) is much better than mp3's by far so you get higher quality songs that are smaller in size comparativly than in an mp3. Check out this page or this Apple page for more info on aac. Here is an excerpt from the Apple page: Improved compression provides higher-quality results with smaller file sizes Support for multichannel audio, providing up to 48 full frequency channels Higher resolution audio, yielding sampling rates up to 96 kHz Improved decoding efficiency, requiring less processing power for decode In numerous comparison tests, AAC comes out on top. Check out these impressive results: AAC compressed audio at 128 kbps (stereo) has been judged by expert listeners to be ?indistinguishable? from the original uncompressed audio source.* AAC compressed audio at 96 kbps generally exceeded the quality of MP3 compressed audio at 128 kbps. AAC at 128 kbps provides significantly superior performance than does MP3 at 128 kbps.* AAC was the only Internet audio codec evaluated in the range ?Excellent? at 64 kbps for all of the audio items tested in EBU listening tests.* * Information provided by Dolby Labs. And from my own personal hearing tests, aac really does sound much better than mp3 even at lower quality. Doesn't WMA support restrictions on playback? MP3s cannot be restricted. It is not in their encoding scheme.... Well, at least not yet.. Things change. It can be written into the XML at the start of every WMA - where you can put so much metadata it's not funny!
