Grey text in white text box. Front page article comments, dark theme

Recommended Posts

I'm just wondering, and trying to reign in the snark, but who thought light grey text in a white text box would be a great idea?

This is how front page article comments look to me. I use the dark theme. Chrome 47.0.2526.80 64-bit, Windows 10.  http://i.imgur.com/77sk9Rv.png

White or off-white on dark grey would be so much better, easier on the eyes.

Also, enter produces a line break in the forums, and in most text input fields, but in the front-page articles, it produces a new paragraph. Kind of annoying when you're used to two Enter strokes to make a new paragraph and you do that and get four line breaks. WordPress's post editor/maker is the only other text input field I use that does the same thing. Not as big a deal but I thought I'd throw it out there.
