Is there a quick way I can find out my exact build on XP? I know I'm using SP1, but the build is unclear. I want to make sure I'm good to go before applying the theme.

For the record, I too have build 2600.

browse to %windir%/system32 folder and mouse over your shell32.dll it will show you all the details... and for those who still have 2600.x.xxxx.xxxx and early 2800.x.xxxx.xxx ill suggest you to stop by windows update first so u can get the same built numbers...

Im using the other GANT shell32.dll and am also using autopatcher will this still work for me after checking the version?

Why is the file size so large? the other shell32 on deviantart is a 5 mb rar archive.

sweet jesus...it works and looks beautiful...the batch thing was soooooooooo much easier than using replacer to replace every frickin file. i love you hidr0. (in a non-gay way) ;)

bcuz it has a bunchof other stuff and more than just the shell32. like wallpapers and other system files. download and just look at it to find out. I did...was the best thing that has happened to me in a while :D

goto %windir%/system32 then hold mouse over shell32.dll..it should be version 6.0.2800.1233, anything else you should take a trip to windows update

Downloaded the file a few times now, and keep getting an 'unexpected end of archive' error. Tried a few different methods of downloading, file managers and direct download, always the same :(

While I kee ptrying to get it properly, can anyone tell me if this pack works with the GUIReplacer in another thread?

Got it eventually, very good icon set and theme. Just cant get the shellstyle to work properly :(
