dont get a hard surface... with no friction your hand wont offer as much percision.

get something like a DKTPad or a FATPad... the supermat is $5 at frys and is VERY good.

hmm..so far...something reflective will be good enough

isn't that you dotn want reflection, thats why shiney surfaces do not work..

ratz pads are great, but kill your mouses ski's

I just got a regular black mousepad with a squishy gel thing to rest my wrist on :)

i've found those mouse pads do nothing but get in my way, epsecially while playing games... i move the mouse to go down, but its too far down around and runs into it, when a normal mouse pad it could've gone down a few more inches

i have been using my fUnc sUrface 1030 for quite awhile, and have loved it the entire time. mines an alienware one i won at a lan party, so im not sure on the actual costs of it. it has a nice rubber base so it wont slip, and is double sided. one side rough, other smooth. i suggest looking into it!

i got no mouse pad at the moment and well the ones with the cloth on get dirty and hard to wash even in a washing machine. at the mo i am using the desk but it getting a bit ruff on one of the fake strips and slows the mouse down alot
