Steve
...I was surprised no-one had posted about this yet... Looks VERY awesome to me. I've always been a fan of OmniWeb, but since safari, i couldn't really live without tabs, so i seldom used OmniWeb. However with this release, I am more than tempted to 'switch' back to it... ...Looks Awesome doesn't it?! http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omniweb/5/ Neyo ...The tabs implementation is just plain SWEET! :) :o
Elliott
Yup, looks mighty sweet. When this comes out, move over Safari. :p

SPeedY_B
Never used it before, and while it does look fun, I can't say the $29.95 tag is dragging me away from Safari ;)
macster
The drawer is a very nice idea More developers should use it
cerbero
Never used it before, and while it does look fun, I can't say the $29.95 tag is dragging me away from Safari ;) Exactly... Competition is always welcome though, that'll pressure Apple to make Safari even better.

wtmcgee
i could see myself buying this browser, but i'm going to wait and see before i commit to it. looks great (and it's aqua), and uses the khtml rendering engine, so you know things won't look any stranger than safari does. still, at the end of the day, i'll most likely go back to camino, as i always have. the evn show
Webcore - apple's name for it's port of kHTML is what handles rendering in safari and that is what omniweb uses to do it's drawing. Apple doesn't recommend using it for development yet as the public APIs have not yet stabilized and (quote apple): The WebCore SPIs are fragile, incomplete and bound to change. Apple will soon release a public API based on the WebCore engine. We recommend waiting for this forthcoming API. Omniweb also uses javascriptcore (EMCAscript is the technically correct name here - javascript is a netscape trademark). JavaScriptCore is a port of KDE's KJS code. With a little luck we'll be able to check this thing out tomorrow :)
