Starman
I got tired of watching my kids when they walk over the wire of my game controllers. I love the Wavebird and I was looking for a decent Xbox and PS2 wireless controller here in the US. None existed that were as good as the Wavebird. I don't remember how I found it (maybe it was on Neowin?) but I came across the Air Style PS2 controller. It's not that expensive, I think it was $38 from liksang.com, but I don't like ordering only one item internationally so I put the idea aside for a while. Last week I decided to get an extra set of component cables for my kids' GameCube. So now I had some motivation for ordering from liksang. Wow. This thing kicks ass. Why it's not out in the US I don't know because it would sell like crazy. It looks and pretty much feels just like a regular DualShock 2 controller. It's heavier, but not so heavy that you feel like it's weighting your hands down. It feels VERY comfortable and unlike these crappy "alternatives" we have here in the States, it doesn't look like an alien version of a PS2 controller. Here's a picture from http://www.success-hk.com/review/airstyle/ At first it was a pathetic dog. Turns out it was a bad set of batteries that came with the thing. A new set of Duracell AA's fixed it. I didn't have a lot of time to fiddle with it today, but I first tried Final Fantasy X-2. Running Yuna around was very responsive and there was NO lag. The shoulder buttons on Paine's "Trigger Happy" ability was very fast using the R1 shoulder button. Moving around the abilites menus during battles was perfect. The only other title I really wanted to try with it was GT3. It responded perfectly. It's been a long, long time since I played GT3, but I didn't feel like there was any lag to the game's response to the controller. The vibration effect worked perfectly, also. That's it for now. I'll post more when I get more of a chance to play with it, but we have company coming so I have to go. Mike
cocklea
Im using one too. And like u said, it kicks bootang!!!! Better than the Logitech wireless that i used to have for my PS2. The Airstyle feels more like the original Dual Shock 2, and thats really cool. A must buy for wire-hater.
Chrispynutt
Looks sweet, I'm considering a PS2 as I'm an anime fan and there are a few games out/on the way I'd like (Armored Core, ZOE and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex). I love my GCs wavebird and its good to see that I can get similar controllers for the Xbox or PS2.

Schuyler
I wish they'd just sell those at EB Games, Gamestop, Game Crazy, or even Wal-Mart!
Chrispynutt
I don't know about the US, but Sony patented the design and symbols on their pads so all 3rd parties had to differ enough to be clearly not the official equipment. I think thats mainly why we won't be seing these in the stores.
