How do I change window managers in Linux?

Recommended Posts

do you mean that you are already in X or are you in console and don't like what loads.

In the later case just put a new entry in ~user/.xinitrc

The first case i've only seen you able to change windows managers on the fly in 1 distro.

Actually, Slackware 9.1 should install the wmconfig tool during OS install, unless you specifically opted not to... I run Slack 9.1 as well, and wmconfig worked wonders.
