unplugging my xbox

Recommended Posts

Shouldnt be worried at all. I unplugg mine all the time to bring it to my freinds house, and play on the Big Screen in the livivng room. When you unplugg it, then hook it back up, only thing youll prolly have to do is reset the time and date, because thats what I have to do. :/

Yup, all it does it reset the cloock but rest is fine, just make sure that if you play 60hz on current tv and move to a tv without it, may seem abit wierd

If you travel between the two often (every weekend or every other weekend) I would just invest in another set of power and video cables, they'll likely last you longer and you'll save yourself the hassle of plugging and unplugging the cables constantly.

I'd also be careful not to push the power cable in too hard, it's not common but if you plug and unplug it enough I imagine you could loosen the plug.

As far as the date, that's really no problem other than the hassle of setting the clock over and over again, however it does take some time (or it should) to reset so that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
