2005 Chevrolet Corvette Z51

I have one problem with it; it's a freaking CHEVROLET, I think their quality is even worse then Ford.

ha, i dont know... both Ford and Chevy are equally bad...

bottom line... american cars suck.

oh, is it the GTO or the GT40? honestly i dont know b/c i dont care... my bad.

anyways.... a GT40 might blow away any foreign car, sure... but who on the street is going to need that power. theyre just going to get pulled over anyway

and if you were to race a foreign car and the GT40, the GT40 will win but fall apart as soon as it reaches the finish line :p

Nice, but not as nice as the new Mustang.

ford is just trying to destroy the world with more of their crap "sports" cars.

i see enough mustangs per day, if i see more, i will scratch my eyes out.

Yes, those crap 300+ hp sports cars. I dunno what your definition of a sports car is, but Ford started making them a long time ago.

Kinda funny how people talk trash about fords when their the only successful american company to have oversees cars actually winning races. Both factory supported Fords and teams such as Saleen with their Ford/Saleen Chassis and Motors compete with the Mercedes/Ferrari/Porsche/etc crowd all day long. For more proof perhaps research the Australian racing scene. Their are also a few C5's around their but Chevy's support doesn't seem to be quite as high(I could be wrong admittedly). I've owned 3 mustangs, a 91 gt, 93lx, and now a 2003 GT. First 2 were 11 second cars and the newest one is heading to atlanta to have a moderate turbo kit installed. All of them had absolutely stock internals and never gave a single cough or drop of anything. It is the same with the majority of them, only places they typically have probs is stupid electrical probs and stuff like that here and there through the years. BUT every maker on the world has had those probs from time to time. Take the time to research a topic before you put your NON-educated opinion in.

BTW, on the Taurus subject, shoulda got an SHO, so you'd have the Ford/Yamaha motor and be able to run 12's with minor mods in yer family car

Chevy and Dodge certainly participate as well, with their Vette's and Vipers. Ford does supply more of the motors though, since they sponsor Saleen and Panoz.
