Zennith
3 days .and 2 1/2 hours. Because of shortage of manpower, I had to stand in for my colleagues who were alll "sick" during christmas eve and christmas and even after christmas itself. I guess they were really'sicked' to the point that the doctor gaved them three day's worth of medical leave.
russellc
the most i've been is probably a day...after that i can't stand not sleeping...i'd either just fall asleep right there or..nevermind i'd just go to sleep right there..unless i'm not being lazy and actually walk towards the bed....i have no idea how anyone can stay up for more than a day.. djeter
The most I've been without sleep is 12 days 20 hours. Something I'll NEVER do again. After about 5 days, I was a zombie. After a week, I kept thinking somebody was watching me. Everybody thought I had completely lost my mind. Which at the time, I wasn't all there anyway. And going-off topic a bit... I slept 21 hours straight after I finally fell asleep.

Gary_Player
Its possible to do it but it causes permanent brain damage if its longer than 5 days or so depending on the person Some radio announcer did it for a week or something about a decade ago...he went crazy afterwards. I hope their families enjoy their however many pounds it was because theyre not gonna have the brain left to :pinch:

MR_Candyman
longest I've been awake with no sleep at all is 11 days straight. It was pretty fun and actually I became calmer, but weirder too, lol...people at work could easily tell I was sleep deprived, but I wasn't threatening to kill the customers (cuz I always did, but they loved it and business boomed), so they didn't care
TSan922
4 days...from 8 am on Thursday to 1am Sunday night/Monday morning. This was back in June...we had a 4 day gaming marathon called MillionManLan2 at the Fairgrounds. I forced myself to stay awake that long to whoop (or get whooped  ) in some UT2003. sethrd
Ok, it is now Wednesday, January 7th, and I've been up since Sunday, still. Yesterday was bad, because for some reason, I lost internet connection. I called Time Warner, spoke with tech support (tried to rather) and told them I had paid it. 16 hours later, I'm back online. Yesterday I thought I was going to die. Just a few hours ago, as I was getting something to eat, I heard my mom speaking to me, but she was out at a meeting. Things are seeming to grow bigger and bigger, why my room seems to grow smaller. Still, I won't sleep. I've had no caffiene since last Friday, and my body has become heavy. My eyes, no matter how tired I am, refuse to close. My legs have that prickley feeling. They are numb. I cut my hand while making a sandwich and didn't feel the blood dripping down my hand, till the blood was on the bread. Put on a bandaid, and finished the sandwich. Well, all but the bloody part. I think I'm going to try and run around the block now.
