shrike
Okay, I was playing this game in 93 on my school computers. I don't think it was educational at all, but it a basic 2D platformer type thing except you went from room to room, not side-scrolling (you could also go vertically up and down to different rooms)You started off as this guy with goggle-type things (think Cyclops from X-Men) but you looked like an explorer. You could shoot a laser out of the goggles, and you could rebound it off reflector things to hit switches and stuff which would in turn reverse the direction of a treadmill, or open a door, or something like that. Also, there were baddies like lobsters or something that you had to dodge, and you had to pick up pieces of artifact or something. I think there were four temples on this map, and there was an artifact in each temple (I'm really guessing on the articfact, I know there was something you got) and once you got all four, the last temple thing would appear on the map and it was a combination of all four temples. (One temple was full on treadmill action, for example) Another thing I'm really stretching is I think the main baddie at the end was like an small evil scientist dude with a massive head. Does this ring a bell for anyone? [added Jan 5 2004 4:38PM] It might've been part of a series, because I also remember playing a game with the same main dude that you play, and the bad guy being the same small evil scientist with a big head, but in it you were outside with a butterfly net. But I'm much more interested in the game in my original post :) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ help needed for friend Edited January 6, 2004 by shrike
Ironman273
I think you are talking about Tutankhamon. You could only shoot left and right, though.

Ironman273
Just a thought, but the screenshot is from the arcade version of Tutankham. COuld he have been playing a PC port of it, which would've looked kinda cheezy in 93, I imagine...
