The NO PC challenge

Recommended Posts

Over $10,000? Geez... my question would be: What ever caused that person to give you more than $10,000 to stop using a computer for a month? Unless... you were some sort of elite hacker or something and they wanted you off their systems... or... something...

The longest I've ever went without a computer was 4 years... until we got one when I was 4 years old...

Anyway...

The longest after that was 1 week. No more. No less. Never again.

Now when you say "no PC", how separated do you plan to stay from them?

Cuz in my opinion, asking someone to use a computer to get info for you (check email, send an IM, print a page of document) is the same as using it yourself. I think, to go "no PC", you'd have to completely separate yourself from computers...not relying on them at all...not simply 'not using' them yourself.

Personally, there's no possible way I could do it. My college courses require that I use one...and considering I'm a Computer Science major with two computer-centric group projects this semester...I could never pull it off. My degree wouldn't allow it.

NO PC challenge?

i don't think it is a challenge, because many people don't use PC at all

but it is indeed a good kind of experience

so true :D

/me points finger to people that upgrade to latest gfx cards, fastest cpus just to run benchmarks and such as a prime example :)

It'd be impossible.

My pc is is just over my bed, so as soon as I wake up first thing is see how manu restards messaged me on ICQ even tho im set as N/A, and neowin :).

Its in my sub-concience..

This show why computers could just take over our live, say microsoft takes over in 5 years and pcs are locked unless we pay them...Wed be screwed , we depend upon PC's to live, its everywhere.

Pc is the biggest, unde-estimated power on earth..Whoever pwns the pcs, pwns our lives - namely, Microsoft..

In 5 yerars, you wake up:

that must still be in alpha becuase system is spelt wrong

I am going to try but i dont think i can do it. I wont last hours never mind days. I cant go for a month because my university work requires it. But im off for 2 weeks so i might try a week. Ive often thought about doing it, it would make me a better person because i feel as though i spend too much time on here. Im to much addicted to things like MSN and Neowin. I am on MSN all the time people would think theres something wrong with me if i dont sign in for a few days.
