Large icon for win32 apps on Start menu

Getting kinda frustrated, I've tried several techniques (including the VisualElements.Manifest method).

 

I quite like the live tiles, but MS made a mistake in making Win32 apps have a tiny icon. It looks stupid. Is there anything that can be done to use a larger icon to fit better with the Live Tiles?
